I’ve got a lot of very little for you today. Actually this week is going to be a special week of strips because of the full moon and Friday the 13th both landing in the same week! I hope you enjoy the dark humor as much as I am!
First up, in case you don’t follow The Manor on Facebook, then you probably have not seen that there is some new art over at DeviantArt for you, as well as a new journal entry.
Next up, the Ghastly Awards for 2011, if you are in the business of comics/cartooning I am asking that you go over and nominate The Manor for the webcomic division. So, if you have not nominated The Manor yet, please do!
Aaaaand here is a little music to start off your week of horror!
Okay, so it wasn’t really Tchaikovsky. I just love jazz. And I love classical. And when the two meet under the full moon, something groovy happens.
Awe, what the heck, I’m in a good mood after that last one. Here’s another one.

I have never really cared that much about awards. I mean, when I was taking martial arts, I wanted my trophy for being able to defend myself and kick the but of my opponent; but it wasn’t about holding a trophy and placing it next to others. And when I enter an art competition, I would like to win, but it is more important to me that people get to see my artwork. I would like to win the trophy, plaque, award, whatever it is, though not to stroke my ego.
But here is a competition that I would like to enter. The Ghastly Awards. Here’s the catch. I can’t nominate myself and you have to be a comic creator to nominate me.
Why do I care so much about this award? I can’t really put my boney finger on it, but I think it might have something to do with wanting to expand the people who are reading The Manor. It might have something to do with my love of the macabre. It might have something to do with being able to say to some of my family members who have said to quite all this ridiculousness, that there is a love out there for The Manor that goes beyond just numbers.
Anyway, I am asking nicely, please nominate The Manor.
