When I get old, I want to go live there!

Today’s strip is drawn, inked, and lettered by Brandon Peat.  And before I say anything more, let me just say that Brandon has the AWESOMEST hair.  He is whiter than sour cream and has a huge afro!!  And the best thing is that it’s real and it’s natural.  He doesn’t tease it or anything!!!  And knows more about the Star Wars universe than anyone (which includes George Lucas)!!!

Brandon has been more than just a good friend.  He is a confidant and inspiration.  Secretly we share many of the same fears (though my fear of snakes tops anything he’s got) and philosophies.  When I was in college, I used to run down to Brandon’s room every day to read the new Palindrome — even though it only came out Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  He would post the new strip along with all of the older ones on his door.  And if he was even so much as a day late, I was writing nasty notes on his marker board or drawing his characters being beaten up.  We, we being a large group of us including Aaron Minier, would all joke about how Palindrome was almost as good as Garfield or Family Circus.  But in truth, Brandon has more cartooning talent and business sense than any other cartoonist I know.
